The workspace can be divided into multiple scenes that contain different views of the objects contained within each scene. A scene can also be divided into multiple views, or segments, that display multi-planar reformats or a 3D view of the objects contained in the scene.
The layout of the scenes in the workspace, as well as the layout of the views in a scene, can be selected in the Layout panel.

The Scenes layout buttons allow you to change the number of scenes in the workspace and how they are arranged.
